Eagle Boy: hand carved Yellow cedar.
The chief's nephew was thought to be lazy because all he did was go out and feed the Eagles, and watch the sky instead of helping dry out salmon with the rest of the tribe. As food became more scarce, the chief decided to move the whole village to a new area, with the exception of his nephew. The lonely boy watched as the Eagles soared over his head, and one of them released its tight hold on a fish. The boy stumbled and ran to see even more eagles dropping fish for him. When the villagers came back, they were surprised to see his strength compared to theirs.
